Ed Young

In 1993 I began my tattoo apprenticeship at Tatu Tattoo in Chicago (thanks to my friend Scott Harrison). Shortly after, I moved to Galesburg to work with Hawk for one year. After returning to Chicago for a few years, I came back to Hawk’s in 1997 where I have been tattooing ever since.

I first came to Hawk’s, via Bloomington, in 1986 to get tattooed. This piqued my interest further in the profession. Since my first encounter with Hawk, we continued to keep in touch. I jumped at the chance to work with him when the opportunity came up.
